About

UPDATE - I had big ambitions to create and update this site, but life got in the way. It's doubtful I'll ever work on it again, but I'll leave it up as it's not costing me anything to do so.

Welcome to GOSS NET 1 – the podcast of Apollo Technical Air-to-Ground Voice Transmissions.

My name is Richard Aldridge and if you found this site, you must be a space geek like me.  I was born during the Gemini Program and I’ve loved manned spaceflight ever since I can remember.  As an engineer and pilot, I learned to really appreciate the use of checklists and standard operating procedures.  And I think that’s why I’m fascinated with listening to the Apollo transmissions, and why I decided to start this podcast.

Each week I’ll present a different segment in a new episode.  And with over 200 segments, this will take a while.  But as I get more efficient at podcasting, I may increase the frequency.

Each episode will provide a brief description of each Apollo mission and what you’ll hear in the segment.

Hope you find this podcast educational and a little fun.  Feel free to contact me at [email protected].
